Austria Ironman

Joel Blakeman and I met up in Frankfurt and drove to Klagenfurt, Austria in the huge VW Tansporter. Mapquest was off a bit and it took at least 10 hours, but it did not matter – we were officially on vacation. Klagenfurt was a great little town that really came out for the Ironman. There were 2200 participants and upwards of 150,000 spectators. The race was really well run and it was a great experience. There were even cheerleaders at the bike turnaround and finish line. Joel and I both did great with strong races.
